COR–Collaborative Orthopedic Rehabilitation is a collaborative practice designed to maximize orthopedic health and ease of movement.
We are eager to work with you to accomplish your goals more efficiently. We are combining our clinical strengths to collaborate in “real time.” Depending on your specific needs, we will do an orthopedic evaluation, manual therapy, biomechanical analysis, neuromuscular education, and strengthening. However, the most valuable aspect of the session derives from combining our areas of expertise and stream-lining our communication as a care team.
The format is a clinic setting, located at Athletic Restoration in WRJ, where Lisa and Sarah work with two clients during the hour. You can expect one on one time with each Sarah and Lisa, time to work independently and time where Sarah and Lisa will speak with you together. This approach allows for collaborative care, a 1:1 ratio of practitioner to client 1:1 as well as allowing for a price point to remain commensurate with a normal PT visit.
When starting COR, we encourage scheduling four weeks of sequential visits in order to make substantial gains toward achieving your goals.

If you are already a client of either Lisa or Sarah, and registering for the first time, please aim to schedule 3-4 visits approximately a week apart. If you are established with COR, feel free to schedule a singular session as needed.

If you are new to COR and are not currently a patient with either Blackburn PT or with Athletic Restoration, you will need to first have a 1:1 evaluation with Lisa Blackburn, PT. After that evaluation, we will have you schedule your weekly COR visits.
